Why Sanitize Ghana?:
Sanitize Ghana is a charitable organization, aimed at eradicating one of Ghana’s biggest problem which is Lack of Sanitation. The lack of sanitation is not just one problem but also the sources of other health problems in Ghana. Many kids get sick and die out of Malaria, Cholera, Typhoid and other unknown diseases due to this lack of sanitation.

Moreover, The country is very much dirtied, filled with Plastic Bags (Polythene Bags) and other trash which needs to be recycled. It is very not befitting when there is so much trash in a developing country and any effort done about it, becomes unsustainable. Sanitize Ghana aims at making it sustainable, reaching out to the people, educating them, giving them whatever is needed to sustain it; by reaching out to people Inside and Outside Ghana who are willing to sponsor or support in making Ghana sanitize. And also opening up to volunteers all around the world who want's to support with the sanitation work either with their expert skills or effort.
How it came about?
The Idea behind Sanitize Ghana Project was implemented and started by Vincent Agbemabiese (Founder), born in a poor town. It has been part of his dreams since his childhood to make a change, but as he kept aging he finally figured out one of the ways to make a change and thus Sanitize Ghana Project, which falls part of one of his huge projects he has in mind, which will all help the country Ghana as a whole and the people in it and even go beyond. His urge to sanitize the country was heard by Martien Van Klink (from Holland) and Sofia Dahlgren (from Sweden), who was the first supporter of his idea, Hence Martin Van Klink being the first Co-Founder and Sofia being a very willing first sponsor to the Project. And that gave him the motivation to start the project with the idea that "he is not alone".
WHY Sanitize Ghana Project?
Introduction
Lack of sanitation is one of our biggest problems in Ghana the country as a whole, our environment is so dirtied and needs to be clean. And it isn't impossible to be sanitize, it is possible, That's the idea behind the Sanitize Ghana Project, is to make it the possibility to sanitize the community we live in and the country as a whole by any means possible. And with the help of everyone in it, the possibility is assured. The sanitizing of the Town / Community and the country will be of our own well-being; lack of sanitation has caused so many damages to our health and finance as well, many people get sick of Typhoid, Malaria, Cholera and other kind of unknown diseases. Sanitize Ghana projects is aiming at eradicating or reducing the Lack of Sanitation problem in the country starting with a community after community, we aim at providing education about sanitation, cleaning, and providing whatever it is needed to make the community or town to sustain their sanitation. The Sanitize Ghana Projects is currently backed by Love Life Sweden .
Our Plan
1. Education and Training: This is the major target area. We plan to educate both the current and next generation about Sanitation and also train people (especially kids/students) how to make good use of the plastics bags / recycle them into useful items.
2. Organize Sanitation Events: This events will not just be an event to help clean the targeted community, it will go beyond that.
3. Sustainability: We also plan to place the necessary measures to help sustain the sanitation.
